Found unit with a tripped breaker , reset and found a shorted wire , replaced the wire and the unit is now running and heating .
The flame rollout switch was open, preventing the system from engaging. Upon inspection, I observed that the gas pressure was high. I adjusted it accordingly, and I am pleased to report that the house heating is now functioning properly. 🌡️
Did full winter pm on unit . Everything was normal and withing spec . Unit is ready for winter.
The furnace was heating properly, and there were no gas leaks detected. The drain system was functioning well. I did notice that a wire to the pressure switch was disconnected, which I have reattached. Additionally, I replaced the filter.
Heating tune up complete, did find a capacitor that needed attention for blower motor reading 15 mfd but rated at 20mfd Recommended customer for more return on unit existing unit is a 5 ton but only has 3.34 tons of return will wait for customer authorization on these two repairs recommended return grill is 12x24 I front of front door of furnace
Could not find the unit let him know that we will need to be back with 2 guys and I did let him know there’s a high possibility it won’t be tomorrow
Disconnect was off to the unit turned it on and everything is good to go

I provided a quote for a new unit in Midland, TX after inspecting a 1999 R22 system. The system had a cracked drain pan and leaks on the capillaries, which are contributing to performance issues. Given the age of the unit and the fact that it's using outdated R22 refrigerant, replacement is highly recommended for better efficiency and reliability. The customer is considering the upgrade to a more modern, efficient system.
I relocated a condenser unit and performed a tune-up on a heat pump system in Midland, TX. The condenser was moved to a more optimal location for better airflow and system efficiency. I then conducted a comprehensive tune-up, inspecting the refrigerant levels, cleaning the coils, and checking the blower motor and thermostat calibration. I also tested the defrost cycle and lubricated all necessary components. After completing the work, the heat pump is operating smoothly, and the system is ready for efficient performance.
I inspected an indoor unit that had frozen up in Midland, TX. After a thorough check, I found that the filters and evaporator coil were clean, indicating proper airflow. I checked for any signs of a refrigerant leak but found none during the inspection. The issue could be related to airflow restrictions or thermostat settings, so I adjusted the system to ensure proper function. After allowing the unit to defrost, everything is running smoothly, and no further issues were detected at this time.
Unit has a leak, it was low on refrigerant. Added like a pound and customer was good to go.

Found loose lead on contactor in turn melted the contactor and shorted out the capacitor verified both findings with customer Capacitor and contactor
Checked all furnaces per prepaid maintenance. Checked all gas pressures and all furnaces. All okay at this time. Customer did not have filters. Please bill per her request.
Found unit eventually dropping on suction pressure causing unit to lock out after 5 cycles faulting. Found return Very short (2ton of return) also found that unit was overcharged to overcome the Airflow Restriction on the Return side. We will have to Open sheet rock and install a new grille. After this is done we also have a slight restriction in the TXV Capillary tubes this will need a new TXV due to the amount of rust I would prefer replacing the whole evaporator coil that comes with new TXV. Due to Overcharge we would need to recover and recharge with Virgin Refrigerant due to the unstable nature of R410a and manufacture recommendations not to reuse exposed refrigerant. All of these findings Need to be addressed for proper unit performance

Upon inspection, everything checked out well. The Delta T was initially a bit low, but after I cleaned the outdoor unit, the temperature difference improved to the optimal range. The cleaning process allowed for better airflow and heat exchange. Afterward, I rechecked the system, and everything was functioning properly with no further issues. The unit is now operating efficiently, and the customer can expect improved performance moving forward. All components were in good working condition.
Today, I completed the Fall tune-up on both HVAC units. As part of the tune-up, I inspected and tested all key components, including the thermostats, capacitors, and contactors, ensuring everything was operating within manufacturer specifications. I also checked the refrigerant levels, verified proper airflow, and examined the filters for cleanliness. Additionally, I thoroughly cleaned the condensers on both units to enhance cooling efficiency and prevent future issues. After completing the tune-up and cleaning, I ran both systems to confirm they were functioning correctly. The units are now ready for the colder months ahead, and the service call was completed successfully.
